3/8" Torque Wrench for $13.99
#17
I'll stick to my craftsman torque wrenches, they've never failed me and I can just swap them out at the store if I ever doubt them. I love my Craftsman tools, never had an issue with any of them beyond normal wear/tear, which I can just go swap out for any reason.

I have the 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" torque wrenches from HF. They all function perfectly when used in their accurate range. I have other name brand and no name wrenches that work equally as well. If it works like it's supposed to consistently and reliably it's silly to insist on buying a name brand for the sake of a name brand. Some inexpensive tools work as well or better than their big name counterparts. That being said, my Snap On torque wrench is better than all my others. But it was $250. I got it used for $100. I can buy 5 new HF ones for that. They're both accurate to +/- 4% in the sane range.
BTW, the 1/2" non ratcheting breaker bar mentioned earlier is on clearance for $5.97. $6 for a 25" breaker bar is amazing. It's a steel bar, the brand name on it irrelevant if it doesn't bend or break when you use it, what else matters? And just like almost every brand HF replaces any hand tool that breaks. I've gotten far less hassle returning their tools than I have returning Craftsman tools at Sears.

HF tools are generally cheap quality. The finish on their combination wrenches (the portion that actually wrenches on the bolts) is noticeably rougher then Craftsman. No way I would trust a their torque wrenches. You get what you pay for. The only HF tools I have are some rachet extensions and a breaker bar. Tools that do not require any precision.
