Request: how to remove center console on 2010+

i have searched everywhere, and can not find any instructions on how to remove the center console on a 2010+. i can "unclip" the center console with no problem. the issue is that there is a piece under the radio that i can not figure out how to remove to allow the center console to lift up over the shift ****. does anyone know how to remove the rounded trim piece that goes between the radio and the trim around the shift ****? i know there are tons of threads on how to remove the pieces on 07-09, but i cant find anything for 2010.
thanks

you have to have the shift **** off and the car in nutral. then it will slid up over the shifter. I ran into this my self. just put the car in nutral. e-brake on and then turn the car off. the car will beep at you to shift to part but just disconnect the bat if it bothers you.

You probably want to consult the FSM, in the "IP" section. IP = instrument panel, but there is also info on the center console. If you don't have the FSM, try the link in this thread:
