I am in the wet sanding part, started late due to pick up some stuff..

Well my "bubbles" are like craters.. But after wetsanding.. I can really feel that its going to a smooth surface. Few more 800grit sanding should do the work!

800 is a little heavy. After that i'd follow up with atleast 1000 and even 2000. Otherwise it will be a bitch to polish out.

My liquid wax did not work at all.. So I bought some paste wax, which is working much more better than before.

I had to use my index finger left & right for 2 hours , but all in the end it will be worth it

It was not dark as I expected it to be.. But its "Smoked" enough.

Wax is going to get you no where. You need a rubbing compound with abrasives that will get the sanding marks out. Wax will just temporarily cover it up a little and make it somewhat shiny.

If you need to take it to a professional detailer or body shop and have them polish them for you with a machine.

YOU LIE! Those stupid plugs held me back an hour cause I was afraid to break something...That is the hard part by far! I got the first coat on...including one lil piece of hair cause the wind blew and it fell on there...IDK what to do about that...oh well. I'm OCD about this kind of stuff.

I also had a hard time getting my cut outs right for the reverse light...I'm afraid they are gonna be crooked.../sigh

Ok so this is my first coat....I noticed that I can still see some swirls from when I sanded. That should go away after clear coat, rubbing and finishing right?
