I found the thread that just states to follow the service manual, but I was looking for a detailed thread with actual pictures, which I did not find. Any link to the thread you are referring to?

rear spoiler only took me 10 min. to take off. Unclip all the plastic clips holding the carpet piece on the inside, pull the handle piece out for closing the trunk, remove the rubber pieces at the top of the trunk, unplug the back-up cam if you have it, then it's just 4 bolts. After you take off the 4 bolts, you'll need to carefully pry the spoiler off because the is 2 clips holding it, but it pops off pretty easily.

Don't know if you still need it but, check out Stillen's grill in their website, they have instructions in PDF format on how to remove/replace the grill.
