Cleaning the stain on back seat passenger arm rest.

Dear forum members, I got 2012 g37x. The only problem is that there is a stain on the back seat passinger arm rest. This is something I have overlooked since g37x had very low miles and very affordable. I tried removing the stain with various cleaners including nail polish remover. Nothing seems to work. I was hoping for some advice.

Close up. You can see the grain the stain goes very deep.

Kinda looks like a chicken. Just put a sticker over it.

Or you could try to match some vynil spray paint.

Or better yet, go to a professional detailer.

Talk to some local car dealers. Most have a contractor who does minor interior repair. Our local (south Chicago) guy does some pretty nice work. He paints with a blow gun using only his lungs. He tints the dye so the repairs are almost perfect.

Thank you. I think the dealer will know somebody. I have a few shops around me but I don't want to take a chance with just any random shop.

It kind of looks like a burn... have you tried mayonnaise (really)? Real mayo, rub some on, let it sit for 15-30, wipe it off, repeat a few times. You might be surprised on how well it works, or you might just be rollin' with some mayo for a day or two. At least you'll cross another diy option off the list before you spend $.

if the color is white why not try wipes with bleach.

Looks like a burn to me. I'd agree with others to get it re-dyed or replaced.

Thank you for all the suggestions and help. Local detailer already ordered the pain and will take care of a few other things including this spot. I just got a dead driver side scuff plate replaced that I got off ebay for ~50. Analog clock battery just died so that has to be taken care off. A few other minor scratches outside and I all set to go. G37x 2012 with ~50k miles I got for ~14 thousand and I really love how it drives. Premium stereo also is allot of fun.

I don't know what "ordered the pain" means. I think I do, but it's kind of a Princess Bride quote.

It would be great if you swing back and tell us what that stain was, and how they fix it.

I thought it looked like a burn, too.
