Affordable car cover?

Looking for recommendations for a car cover for my 2011 G-Sedan.

Something in the middle price range wise I know cheap won't do it but I'm not trying to drop 5 bills.

Anything helps looking for reviews on what anyone else may own.

The first question is where do you park the car? If it is outside you will be better off leaving it uncovered. Wind moves the cover enough that it will scuff the paint over time.

Next question is do you drive the car every day? If you do then you will be better off leaving it uncovered. The constant covering and uncovering will scuff the paint. You'll also tire quickly and removing and installing it.

If the car is not a daily driver and is parked in a garage and you just want to keep dust off it a cheap cover from Advance will suffice. I have one on my project car and it has survived some hellacious wind storms, and keeps the car "clean" so something like it will go well in a garage situation.

Covercraft car covers from Costco are very nice. Custom cut for every model and fits like a glove.

So the car is parked 4/5 days out of the week.
I use public transportation to get to and from work and only drive it friday-sunday usually.

It is parked outside in the sun no overhang. I keep her waxed.

Mainly something to put on the car after I wash it Wednesday/Thursday so when I take it out Friday/Saturday its spotless.

Did someone say cover???

This is my custom Coverking cover:https://www.coverking.com/vehicle-co...iti-g37-x.html

Apparently, coverking used to make them officially for Infiniti as when I was in the market for one a year ago I discovered they’d been discontinued from the official Infiniti accessory site. The only difference was the Infiniti logo on the front.

I’m kind of in the same situation as the OP, my G sits during most of the week and that Black Obsidian is a pain to keep clean.

However the cover itself is kind of a pain when I want to use it, paranoid of making sure the part that touches the car stays clean, etc...

I also was thinking that I wanted a cover to keep my non-garaged car clean between washes; & for UV protection.

i’ve read the couple of post here stating that covers outdoors scratch the paint and do more harm than good.

is that the general consensus?
