exhaust tip cleaning

hey guys. this may be a dumb question but I figured id ask anyway. Whats the best way to clean exhaust tips. Mine are getting black and gross and really losing its flair. I got an ark grip with burnt tips, is there anything specific I need to use so not to damage the burnt area?

you can try some metal polish in an inconspicuous area to see if it takes the finish off.

i have always used a metal polish on my stock tips. not too sure about the ark exhaust

Maybe try magic eraser pad by Mr Clean, but like anything else as said above, try on small area first. Maybe underside of tips

I vaguely remember Rochester mentioning a product he picked up at Wal-Mart or something that made his FI exhaust tips look brand new. I could be completely off the mark but could've sworn it was him...

I forget where I saw this but someone had a video using
Bar Keeper's Friend Bar Keeper's Friend
to polish their tips and it turned out well.

I’ve used bar keepers friend as well as nevr dull. Like others have said use some on the underside to see if the finish wears off.

Just use some mild metal polish. like said earlier, Try a spot on the bottom of the tip 1st. Don't use bars or soda. that stuff will remove rust,So what do you think that will do to your tips? Just don't use a lot of pressure.

I don't know about burnt tips but on my fast intentions i use mothers mag & aluminum polish or eagle one nevr-dull. I try and clean mine at least once a month so it doesn't get too bad.

mag polish is a mild abrasive, so keep that in mind. You might want to try an acid cleaner first.
