What's up everyone. So I need to remove my spoiler that is attached using 3m tape. I'm sure I can get the spoiler off first by detaching it from the tape using some heat and a plastic putty knife. But how do I safely remove the tape from the paint?

Is 3m adhesive remover used for removing leftover gunk once the tape is removed or for actually debonding the tape?

Clay bar for the tough, stubborn stuff.

 

Get an eraser wheel that you can put on a drill. I have one and used it to debadge my G and the side moulding on my wifes yukon.

 

+1 on the 3m adhesive remover. Works really well. Then polish the area after you are done.
