This past weekend was really humid so I decided to whip out the Leatherique that I bought a few months ago and give it a try. I cleaned the front seats with Meguiar's leather cleaner and applied Leatherique as directed on the bottle. Then I put a large trash bag over the driver's seat (to test if the effects intensify) and put the car out in the sun to bake.
After several hours of letting I wiped down the seats with leather cleaner and wasn't 100% satisfied with the results. They were better than before, but the driver's seat still had that very dry spot near the door, so I repeated the process, this time without the trash bag on the driver's seat, and let it sit overnight. It was a cool 60 degrees so the product didn't bake into the leather.
Overall I'm very satisfied after the second application, and it seems like time is more of a factor than heat/humidity, which helps the process. For the best results, I'd recommend leaving the product alone for an entire weekend if possible. This was about 16 hours of exposure to Leatherique and it definitely helped restore my seats to what the condition would be a few years ago.
I give it a 4.5/5 stars, only because it didn't completely unwrinkle the cracks in the side bolsters. But at the end of the day, this is maintenance of an old car, and it leaves me more satisfied than before.
Leatherique is great. For the loose and wrinkly spots:
1. Put a couple damp wash cloths in a microwave safe container and microwave them for about 3 minutes to make them steaming hot.
2. Use tongs to place the steaming damp cloths on these problem spots. It helps for wrinkles, loose spots, etc.
3. Be amazed at the difference. Repeat as necessary.
could you use a steamer (like for clothes) with a microfiber towel or something wrapped around it? do you think that would also give good results?
i've tried leatherique last summer. only let it bake in the sun for about 4 hours on a nice warm day. didn't really do much for cracks/wrinkles. maybe i need to allow for more time like OP mention.

slather on the Rejuvenator, then cover the seats with big contractor trash bags and let it sit out in the sun. reapply the next morning if needed and let sit another day (or more if your leather is really trashed...)
the trash bags will make a "sauna", and also allow you to drive the car with the Leatherique still applied if you need to.

I think the steamer may over saturated the leather with water since it has a constant water supply. It may work, but it also may make the leather hard if too much water is absorbed. Think of a water logged baseball or a baseball glove that was left out in rain. The steamed damp rag only gets minimal water on the leather while still giving off a good amount of steam.
Awesome review glass... I might have to give this a try on my seats!
Just doing the little I can to help the community! You should definitely give it a try since it's getting really hot/humid outside. It could be confirmation bias, but my seat leather feels so much younger and comfortable
