Mothers makes a water spot remover cream works well

I dont think a cream would work well. i tried using a window polish with a buffer with no luck.

I've dealt with stains like this before. Polishing it out is about the only way.

I have the same issue on my sunroof. I understand that hard water can actually etch the glass, and it can't be removed.
Polishing didn't work... Hope to find a solution....

You need to polish using glass polish and felt polishing pads using a random orbital

Yeah mine is etched so it wont work. ive used that, Chemical Guys window polish, and a few others.

i had a friend try out my meguairs on a year or so old water spots on the glass shower door. came right off lol

What window polish did you use? I used Zaino and it took off all my water spots.

Awesome! THanks! i might have to try that polish. Every polish ive used, Meguiars, Chemical Bros, Mothers, and Griots Garage, just didnt work. i will have to try this stuff.

Bringing this thread back...any luck with the water spot removal OP? I just purchased a 2018 4Runner and there are water spots throughout the entire vehicle on both the paint and windows!! The paint I will have to live with as I don't want to risk damaging the paint/clear coat but to be driving around with "dirty/spotted windows" is just so annoying.
