I've moved to a liquid wax...one that doesn't leave much residue behind in cracks, and also doesn't discolor and grease-look rubber so I don't have to be nearly as meticulous when using it.

I think the stuff I use is Turtle Wax Ice or something like that. It can go on just about anything IIRC. Only used it once or twice on my 2012 Maxima, and then I never washed that car again for like a year

I just traded it towards a G37 and my Griot's Garage DA polisher will be delivered tomorrow. I will vow to wax this car twice a year (maybe every season) now that I have a decent electric polisher.

I used to restore / show Corvettes. Saw a guy, at the Orlando NCRS Regional, demonstrating a product called Formula 113. He was making great looking cars look even better. So, I bought some, to try... real easy to use, no dust leftover. Looks great!! Only negative is it doesn't last all that long, but I detail my cars frequently, anyway. It's available online. PS- I have no vested interest in this product, just a very satisfied customer. Good luck.
