I recently got my car around 3 weeks ago, and the leather on my driver's seat is already creasing. Its happening on the left side, possibly when entering and leaving the car? I told the dealership and they told me real leather tends to crease more easily, when compared to leather mixed in with plastic. I'm not too sure if this is true or not, but I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for me, to prevent further creasing. Thanks in advance.

 

Not much you can do. It's just crappy Infiniti leather. Even people in their brand new cars have this very problem.

 

I got one of those gel seat cushions (black) from Walmart to help with this issue and I also clean and condition the leather with this:



The gel seat cushion is about an inch thick and it keeps you a little higher in the seat so when you're exiting the car, it's little easier to lift your leg higher over that left portion of the seat. It's helped keep the leather wear a lot lower.

 

This stuff will decrease the drag on the seat as you get in and out. It really works well.

I'm not sure about the creasing but you probably not sit on other seats with your wallet in back pocket.
I got the leatherique for the leather care. It works awesome!! It's kinda pricey and so is the car but well worth it.

try conditioning your seats every 3 months this will slow down the process but will still crease,the problem is that the seats are thirsty they are dryed up and when you go in and out they crack and get faded.

 

i don't have this problem with my seats.
