Angry Scratch on car D:

So I woke up to a horrifying thing. There is a scratch about half an inch to an inch wide spread apart, seems like it might of went through the paint. And just two days ago a biker decided to lean over on my car while I was driving and I made a dent I just got fixed yesterday. Wondering if I should get it repaired and will it look like it was never there after. Or should I just leave it :/. Cars not even move then 3 months old .

Take it to a shop and see what they say. Rubbing compound might get most of that out.

As keg said, I'd seek local professional advice and there's a chance some proper polishing will remove or at least greatly improve it so you won't have to worry about repainting.

Yea i got it checked on friday and they said it was so fine that using touch up might make it look worse and it did go through the clearcoat so im not sure compound would fix it any better :/. Im currently in college and i have no clue what good shops are around me and google doesn't seem to help much :/ lol.

Hard to tell but it doesn't look that deep, looks like a scrape. Looks like your a wet sand away from perfection.

I actually went to a detailer and he told me it was too deep to get out without repainting and that touch up might make it look worst... so currently its just siting there... got no clue what to do with it .

Hard to tell with pic but that looks like it will come off with some compound.

When you run your finger over does it feel rigid? Take a few better pictures under different lighting but if i were to bet on it i would say that didn't even go through the clear coat.

You said the shop said it went through the clear coat? So? as long as it didn't hit the primer you can still compound that out.

Its differently rigid, about .5-1mm deep really hard to tell. I don't know if it hit the primer but looks as if it did.
