Stains on Seat About to Purchase Car

I am flying out of state to purchase this car Used 2010 Infiniti G37 Sport Sedan in Boulder, CO near 80301 | JN1CV6AP5AM200480 | Auto.com

I noticed the small stain on the drivers side rear seat in one of the photos and asked for the sales person to send me a clearer pic. He said that it would not come off with cleaning and suggested they have an interior shop dye it and it would look like new.

Some pictures he took and sent:

Thoughts on what could have caused this? Water damage?

Maybe some type of fertilizer of pool chlorine got spilled or was left in a hot car and leaked.

Shouldn't be too difficult to dye it back to black.

Could be. Looks like that white formula puke. But that should of cleaned up.

Maybe a formula bottle was left on the seat and it leaked out and dried into the seat.

I thought milk or puke would have cleaned up as well. Possibly chemical attack like chorine or something. It just sucks that I can't see it before I fly out to get the car.

How about the price for the car? Is it fair?

Sunscreen or makeup of some kind? I knew a female that owned a mini with black interior that had white greyish stains in her interior from the skin products that she would use.

If really bother you and got a good deal, I say just change the sit. I seen them selling on ebay or your local junk shop.

No idea on the seat, but I went to undergrad in Boulder. Should turn it into a nice little trip. Great town.

The car was not even close to the condition as it was described. I flew all the way from Nashville, dealt with weather delays, had to stay in a hotel for 2 days in Denver all to look at car that had wear and tear of a 150,000 mile car that had 23,700 on the odometer. The leather was worn through on the steering wheel! Words can't describe how mad I was.

I ended up getting a 2012 G37S 6MT sedan from Rickenbaugh Infiniti. Much much happier. Fantastic experience with that dealer.

It would of really sucked if you bought it sight unseen and had it shipped to you

But hey, glad everything worked out.....Congrats on your new 2012 G37S 6MT
