So in the parking lot, my girlfriend opens her door and hits the passenger door into the metal shopping cart return thing. Now, I have a ding at the edge of the door. It's at the edge where the door meets the side of the car. See below:








Can I get this fixed without paying too much or is it even fixable? I'm so sad. Brand new car

 

Talk to a paintless dent repair specialist, it doesn't look too bad and they may be able to massage and fix it. It looks like some paint got chipped off but you may be able to get away with a couple layers of touch up just so you're not left with any bare metal.

 

Yeah so I paid a PDR guy to get it out. Looks flawless like it never happened, minus the chipped paint.

Glad you got it fixed. Had a similar ding due to someone being careless with my brand new car while it was in their custody. My PDR guy made it look better but it is not completely gone, You can still see mine if you look for it really hard.
