I have no doubt the film would be a better protection barrier, I think I'll give the spray a try and just see how well it does over a short time frame. I'm sure I'll find out soon enough if it provides enough protection. I've changed my driving habits quite a bit from when I had our previous G and the first couple years of our 09 so hopefully that combined w/ a layer of the product will make a nice difference. If not seems simple enough to peel off and go another route.
I'd really like to hear your opinions of how well the spray covers, if it's easy to get a good level coat, how well the spray comes out of the can etc. I've not heard anyone else (from a consumer standpoint) that has tried this yet.

Couple of reviews on this over on Amazon, sounds like it will work but there is an issue with the nozzle spitting the product out.
