How to properly wash/detail a new car?
I have a brand new white car that I want to keep shiny and new, and was wondering what steps should I follow? Would I still need a polish or a buffer? Thank you
Wash, Clay, Wash, Compound (If needed), Wax.
If anything, you can do Meguire's product as well if you want to start of light. There NXT lineup is good. NXT wash, Quick detailer with claybar, following wash again, then quick wax or use Gold class wax.
Microfiber towels and leaf blower for drying. Two step washing (two buckets).
Zaino makes a great kit.
Also check detailedimage on the forum. Great people. Alot of advice.

Here’s a simple test that will indicate whether or not you need to clay. After washing and drying your vehicle place a plastic sandwich bag over your hand or fingers, gently pass over the surface. Does the surface feel silky smooth or rough and gritty? If you felt roughness and/or grit, your surface is contaminated.
