Water marks/faded spots on rear window rubber molding
Hey guys,
I plan to post pictures once it stops raining, but I have recently discovered that on my 2009 sedan there are faded spots that look like possible water spots on the glossy rubber window molding that separates the rear window with the triangular window piece. It's only on this once piece and I think I know what may have caused it. Last week when I got my car from the dealer from service there was a substance that must have gotten on the car that the dealer tried rubbing off and it was on the pilar, as well as, the rear door window, etc. I used Meguire's ultimate quick detailer on all of the spots to see if I could get the stuff off, which I did, including the rubber. Later that day I also washed the area with soap and water. The spots don't come off with the detailer spray, but I haven't tried washing or anything else.
Any thoughts? Products I should use? Because it's the glossy rubber piece I don't want to make the area worse with anything else I do before a little advice.
Thanks for your help!
