3M Clear bra

Does anybody have this installed on their rides? How well does it protect from road debris?

I am located in socal and can someone recommend a shop where I can get this installed?

I highly recommend this if your car is new! I didnt get the clear bra on mine and the front end of my car has got rock marks all over it, quite depressing. Should be the first thing anybody does when they first buy the car.

I had a clear bra put on my 2010 before it was a week old, so there wasn't any chips in the car yet. That was 22 months ago and I have put almost 18,000 mostly highway miles on it without getting any chips.

3M's thick. Hear it's good stuff, but evidently Venture Shield's better (same company). But in my experience...Venture Shield's TOO thin. Still holds well, but I'd go with a thicker clear bra on the bumper (or bottom of front aero lip, if you have one).

I felt it was worth the expense.

I have the same but did the entire hood, entire front fenders back to door and a pillars. I know this is going to be money well spent!

I put it on my '08 within a month of purchase. 50k miles later and the only chips I have is where the clear bra does not cover the nose (flat area around headlights, etc.). Well worth the investment.

My installer told me to treat it exactly like you would the paint. I have only used wax as you dry so far and it looks fine.
I cannot say enough good things about this product.

I had Venture Shield installed on my '11 LE sedan before I picked it up (500 miles from home, so it was clear bra right away or blue painters tape for the ride home )

I love it. yes you can kinda see the line where it ends (I went half way up the fenders and hood) but that might be color dependent.....my car is Malbec Black, so you'll see everything.

The ONLY issue I have is where I bumped a curb in front of a parking spot....it left a couple scrape marks on the clear bra.......I can probably cut out the affected pieces to make it look better, but its not that big of a deal. I just back into every spot from now on

Try using some rubbing compound on the bad area of the film. You have nothing to lose if your thinking of cutting that area out.
