So I scratched the chrome (I assume it is chrome) area that is around the shifter...when I was cleaning the car. Any suggestions on a product to buff this out or repair? I have to look at it every day.

 

if u are still under warranty have dealership replace it for you, they replaced the entire shifter the aluminum brush piece on both front door for free of charge, just because it had scratches, i did not even buy the car from them.
