Why does...
Wash + Wax = rain?

This is the second freakin time in the last couple weeks I have washed my car and then rain comes... in SoCal, where it hardly ever rains.

Think of the positive...the wax is now protecting your car that much better from the rain and contaminants that will come from the weather. And it will only be that much easier to wash your car next time!

It's rained about twice since late February where I live. Guess what happened earlier that day or the day before on both occasions?

Garage and cheap commuter FTMFW!

Seriously though, if you did a good job washing and waxing, just go out and use your favorite chamois (flesh or synthetic) and dry it. Will look good as new.

I just slammed my car and the next day we had a major major flood in central pa. Now there are ridiculous potholes...... everywhere.....

Rain dilutes all the solvents in wax so its a lot shinier next time you buff it
