I got the lettering off fine... (fishing line) goo gone... Then I soaked the goo gone on and then like a retard started rubbing with MF cloth... The glue when coming off scratched the SH*t out of the paint...

Have no light to take another pic... its not "passed" the clear coat as i can still see the "black" behind it.... but i can barley feel it...

Take a better pic first.

It looks like the adhesive is just smeared around, use chemical guy bug and tar remover and a MF towel and you'll be fine

You'll be fine. Use the recommendations from above. Just debadged a friends Black Ob coupe a few days ago and there were scratches after the scrubbing and rubbing. Hit it with some 205 and 105 and it looked fine.

Deep breath.... aaaand relax.

You just need the right polish, the right bad and a buffer... it will come out. I have some minor scratching where I removed the badging, as well. Just waiting for my shipment from Detailed Image to arrive so I can get her all purdy again.

Repeat after me... "It will be fine".

Well I ended up doing more damage then I thought… I just got back from the auto body store (picking up car) and when I took it in the shop owner said that I heated it up to much then when rubbing it I “creased” it…. I had to get the entire trunk re-sprayed… I was pretty pist when it happened but am happy now… its all done and looks good. Unfortunately 250 dollars later lol!!!!!!! Oh well you live and you learn J Attachment 86725<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
