You used a heat gun to remove them? Ouch.

I used goo gone and floss, then more goo gone and a soft cloth to remove mine. Still scratched up the clear coat pretty good getting the glue off.

Finishing pad + M205 = looks like new.

Glad you got yours back to shiny. Looks sweet.

Try sanding and buffing it out..
