water pressure wash

hey guys. i have a black coupe that got VERY dirty from the winter in boston. i dont have time right now to really wash it so i was wondering if it would be a good idea to just hose it down at a self wash carwash with just water pressure. let me know what you think or if you have any other quick ideas. i plan on really cleaning it with ONR in about a month...

yeah that would get the majority of the dirt off, youll have a cloudy white layer of dirt you cant get off with the pressure washer(happened to me all winter).

At the very least the pressure wash will get the salt and road chemicals off. This is the most critical. If it's got grit and such on it, don't get like 6 inches from the paint with the water spray, lest you cause the grit to scratch itself.

Don't forget at some point soon to get the underside washed in a drive-through wash or put it on ramps and hose it off.

Thanks guys. Just I don't have the towels with me for another few weeks. Is it ok if I just let it dry on its own or is that not smart?

You can pressure wash it to get some dirt off. When you dry it with towels...all the dirt you left on your car sticks to your towels and make them really dirty.

I would let the car dry by itself...
