CRSpotless Rolling Water De-ionizer and Detailed Image products - first use.

To start this off - if I had known how phenomenal this experience would be, I would have snapped before photos. My first wash on my OB '11 G37S Coupe was less than satisfactory. I used my Meguiar's Deep Crystal car wash and ended up with horrible water spots. This was no surprise, as I noted water spotting on my other cars previously, albeit to a lesser degree.

This prompted me to do a deeper search and Detailed Image had the solution, the CRSpotless water deionizer. I ordered the filter and assorted MF towels along with ONR and other products. While waiting for the order to arrive, we suffered a cold snap and a few waves of rain. This really prepped the car with massive amounts of road dust.

The weather today was finally sunny and not so cold, so the goodies got broken out for their first performance. I used a cocktail of the Meguiar's with a touch of the ONR for my two bucket clean. The water filter ended up stealing the show, as I ended up doing only a single MR towel drying. The remaining water evaporated completely, leaving an unbelievable shine.

If you own an Obsidian Black or any other color car, you can't lose out by buying a CRSpotless system. I will no longer stress about getting the car dry within 30 seconds of rinsing...

Great to hear. I've always wanted to try one of these but I'm just too cheap to justify the expense. I wish they were much cheaper.

The wash was so easy, I don't have an excuse to put it off anymore. I almost wish that I hadn't sprung for the waffle MFs, as water spotting seems to be a non-issue. Next wash will be without towels. The money saved on MF towels could go a long way towards the system.

We also have 250 ppm TDS in our water supply here. I don't know if this is high, but it would water spot very easily when I used the chamois before. We finished 2 cars in no time, as I didn't have to obsess about getting every last drop and run - like the ones from the door mirrors....

I'm glad to hear the CRSpotless unit has been so helpful. I know they save a lot of time drying and best of all it removes that awful fear of watermarks. Thank you for writing the review!
