Car Cover

Anyone know the best place to get a car cover to fit an 08 Coupe? I got one as a gift recently (not sure where it was from - ordered online). It was advertised as a custom fit for the car with side view mirror pockets. When I put it on, there were no pockets and it didn't even cover the entire car (top to bottom).

My local infiniti dealer had told me that the covers they sell are generic 1 size fits all for all their models. Car is currently in my garage, however trying to prevent all the dust and garbage from accumulating on it.

Thoughts?

The cover my dealer sold me was specific for the G37 coupe and it’s a perfect fit. It has the side mirror pockets, clear plastic insert that fits over the rear license plate, a metal chain and padlock arrangement, and even has an Infiniti logo painted on the front hood area. But it wasn’t cheap at $290.

I feel like I am whoring this picture out as it will be the third time I have posted it for different threads but I ordered this directly from a dealership. Infiniti sells two different types and this one was best for me (all weather one) as I just wanted it covered for garage purposes and not UV protection. They were very specific on this custom car cover even down to wether I have a spoiler or not and it fits like a glove! There is even a license plate window that lines up perfectly in the back:

Good luck but you should call a different dealer if this is the only response you are getting from yours...

^ Or yes what Chekov said... he must have posted while I was finding my pic... and yeah it can come with a cable lock which I have on mine as well. It's actually not too bad at all considering what some covers can cost and it is quality.

I have a WeatherShield® HP MultiColor on my 2008 coupe. I have to park outside during the week going to college and I absolutely love being able to keep my car clean. it's a perfect fit. It's a lightweight cover that packs up smaller than a pillow. Hope that helps! Also, i bought it on carcoverworld.com

I'm curious what is the material on the under cover of the car cover? is it just the same material? or do they have microfiber or something? How hard is it to put on and any chance of you guys scratching the paint when unveiling and putting it on?

the under of mine is the same material. i havent had any issues with it scratching the car. to take precaution i only cover the car when it's clean, to keep it from rubbing against any dirt in the wind.

Oh, it also has a cable and lock that you can see on the middle. That is a nice feature, so it can't be stolen easily. Fits like a glove too, so it wont come off even with heavy wind.

Good Luck!
