I think I will try plastic food wrap on my upcoming road trip. Covering the front with blue tape looks retarded.

Wont it overheat the engine (no air going threw?) and possibly melt because of the heat.

i had some painters tape actually DAMAGE my paint. a piece of it was flapping back and forth for an hour plus, and i saw white streaks on the clear coat/paint. i've been polishing/buffing it out since...still there.

I usually just spray this stuff on and remove the bugs and debris. Meguiar's Direct Ultimate Quik Wax it leaves a great finish.

Hilarious. That road wrap link was a deal according to fox 8. Blue painters tape or a car bra though. Dunno if they make them for the new bumper style on the sedans though.

Agreed. Blue tape is usually used by guys tracking their car or for long road trips. I would never use it as a permanent solution.

the food wrap i used held up "okay" because i was in a rush and just did it fast. I put three layers of food wrap and it held for the 300 mile road trip. But if your going to do this, do it in multi layers and do it aerodynamically. My wrap held up but i can see where for the lower grill had only 1 layer it broke and a few bugs got onto the paint. But other then that it held up good and was easy to take off.
