Paint protection purchased from dealer
Paint protection purchased from dealer
I was suckered into the paint and interior protection deal when I purchased my car. What put me over the top on it was that I thought that it would be a good insurance plan against something like gatorade ruining my carpet.
When I got it, they gave me a supply of product. I cant remember what the product is. The question that I have is, is this product any good? Should I just put it up, or go ahead and use it?
Thanks, Charlie.

Ok. I dug up the product that they gave me. The product is called "Resist All". It is by "Cal-tex Protective Coatings Inc." It came with a wash, leather care, window cleaner, wax, interior detailer, tire cleaner.
So, does anybody know about this product and if I should use it on my OB?
Thanks, Charlie.

The plan covers the interior and exterior. Paint Protection includes damage caused by weather induced fading or loss of gloss, hard water etching, industrial fallout, bird droppings, insects, tree sap, road salt, de-icing agents, and accidental overspray.
The interior protection protects against fading, cracking, loose seam, stains, ultra-violet induced weaking of leather or plastic, and tears in leather.
Five years for $500. What got me was an older vehicle that had a big carpet stain due to gatorade. Could never get it out. This gives me the insurance for that.
But what I was wondering is if any of the Resist All products were good. I have a kit they gave me when I purchased the plan. Are they Armor All in disguise or something better? Right now I use Optimum No Rinse. Meguliers Interior.
