which one should i go with?

Hi people,

Recently I clayed and polishhed my car, and plan to add on the sealant this friday,
I have both the blackfire wet diamond and the meguiar's nxt 2.0.
I heard a lot of great things about both products, and can't choose which one I should use.
What will be better? I have an OB anyway.
And if I use the Blackfire, wat kind of wax can I add on top of it to make it better?(I heard people top their sealant with carnouba wax)
Is the meg's nxt a sealant or wax? Can I top it with wax if I use this?
Thanks guys.

Wet Diamond is a sealant, and NXT is a advertised wax (but some say it's also a sealant, not sure on that one). Heard NXT has a cleaning agent so I wouldn't top it on the WD.

I use all black fire products, from compound to polish, sealant and finishing polish. Then i use black fire carnauba wax to top it off they are amazing products!

Exactly Loi, that is why I wasn't sure whether its a sealant or wax..
And highspeed, will it be ok to just use an normal carnouba wax to top it?
And if I can ask, do you apply the blkackfire on the whole car and buff off or do u apply to a panel, wait foir it to dry and buff off? I haven't used it yet, but it seemed to be more complicated and time consuming compared to the nxt..

Wet Diamond for sure. You can do the whole car then wipe off. I top it with Blackfire Midnight Sun. It looks stunning.

Black Betty, it won't dry? I was afraid it'll dry up and a PITA to wipe off, and worse if I leave any scratch marks from the dried residue haha.. Can I top it with carnouba wax after I wipe it off? Or do I need to wait for some time?

A lil update, I just applied the BWD yesterday, it looks awesome, very wet look and so sleek to the touch.
Would it be stupid to top it with a gold class carnouba wax? Will topping it 'reduce' the now wet and sleeky look?I wanted the extra protection, but I don't want to lose the wet look I have now.. Anyone with experience?

I've never used gold class but my experience from using the black fire carnauba wax is it doesn't take away from the deep wet look at all, if anything it adds to it

I usually apply a polish/sealant every 4-6 months depending on how good/bad things look, wax the car the first weekend of every month (sometimes every other month), and wash the car every Saturday

Ok, I might go ahead and try to wax it then. I wash my car every weekend too.. Not sure how long my sealant will last though, because I live in such hot and tropical weather all year long.. Probably last half what you last haha

The wet diamond is very slick and gives excellent protection. The midnight sun will make the appearance deeper and wetter.

Yeah I understand that a little bit cause South Carolina is hot as hell lol but you also don't need to use a lot, a little goes a long way!

Here's my $.02. I have heard many great things about Blackfire although I've never used it. I currently use Zaino and am happy with it. However if I were going to change I would love to try the Blackfire.

I have tried the older Meguiars NXT (not 2.0) on my corvette when I first bought it (never on the G). Easy to use product, shined good (not as good as Zaino though) but my one complaint with it is it attracts dust like crazy

I would go with the Blackfire. I believe that most products that you can't get at a retail store perform much better than OTC.
