Is it ok to use sealants on wheels?

I have matte black rims and JetSeal109, does applying sealant on wheels work? Do I really need to buy wheel sealant?

Wheel Sealant is formulated a tad differently, but you are ok to use JetSeal as well. It won't hurt it. You just may need to apply more often.

^ Like Blackjack already mentioned, you are perfectly fine to use a sealant on your wheels. The drawback is that a sealant is not made to withstand the heat dissipated on wheels, so it won't last as long as products like Poorboys Wheel Sealant or Wheel Wax.

You can use products like OPT Opti-seal on the wheels, but I normally use it on my paint and use Poorboys World Wheel Sealant since it is specially formulated for the wheels. Apply two coats to make it last longer. After that maintenance washes are real easy.
