I dry my car using the sheeting method, and one small microfiber towel.

After you wash, take the nozzle off your hose and put the pressure a little less than medium so it just comes out at a steady pace without alot of pressure.

Run it over the car so the water sheets and just "rolls" right off. i then go around the car with just one small microfiber and wipe down whatever few drops are left over. Cut my drying time in half.

I used a regular towel to dry my car and I think I may have put small scratches on it, not sure if they were there before though

Isn't it a federal offense to say Shamwow and DO NOT LAUGH in the same sentence?

This really is very effective. It will remve like 70 percent of the water on ur car, especially if you waxed your car. The other 30 percent u can handle with waffle weave MF towel.

Using a regular cotton towel is absolute death to your paint. Definitely stop using it and pick up an MF waffle weave towel.

Here's what using a terry cloth towel to dry your car will do to it:

Don't be a dunce like me and learn the hard way. Get some good MF and use nothing else. Ever.

Awesome pics Jeremy, it really shows how much damage using cotton terry clothes really causes. Like I mentioned earlier, they are death to your paint and this clearly shows it.

I see your drying with a terry cloth and raise you drying with a brillo pad!!
