Polished Aluminum huge lip, lot of dirt on it from dirt road.. how to clean?

Trying to get the shine back, brand new rims. Had do drive through the dirt road no choice and tall grass..... Whats the best way to clean these polished aluminum rims and the painted portion without getting swirls or scratched from the dirt using only water and a microfiber cloth?

I might have car wash soap too so might be able to use that.

I did use search function but couldnt find any details.. and these are volk wheels

Think one of those computer cleaning compressed air things might help to get some of the dirt off?

And would waxing them after cleaning help?

Thanks

dang, I can't find the "How to clean Volks" thread, but there is one. You will definitely need some soap though. Give it a good raise, foam the wheels with sud, then lightly clean it and raise. Yes, waxing the wheel afterwards would prevent the dirt from geting embedded into the finish, and make the cleaning go a lot smoother.

Im just really worried about swirl marks or whatever on the aluminum part or the painted part....

And worried about using soap because i dont want it to eat away at the finish

Read the post.... Only thing I don't get is after he says just using soap and water, then drive around to dry it off, to use quick detailer... But after driving around little dirt particles get back on it... So wouldn't using quick detailer after that scratch the polished aluminum??

Also water spots damage clear coat, so every time it rains I have to dry them off?

And another thing is mcguiers soap and conditioner for the car good enough soap? And if so, when wiping down dirty rims with soap water and using a microfiber cloth won't it also scratch? Some dirt particles doesn't just wash away without rinse..

Also... Does spotfree rinse from a bay wash it yourself car wash harm the rims? I kinda used that to rinse some dirt off right after I got outta the dirt
road?

Thanks much love
