Clear Bra Knowledge

Does anyone know anything about these?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Infin...3A1|240%3A1318

0.17mm thickness doesn't sound like the same thickness that the $500+ clear bras are. Please share your thoughts guys. I think it's crap, just wondering if anyone else has gotten one of these?

Being in the paint protection film industry I have to warn you about Ebay companies. 99% of them are garbage and are trying to sell you clear vinyl... or very old/outdated paint protection film. They are only offering a 1 year warranty (and I am sure they will not even stand behind that)... most films are at least 5 years. I can tell you that I cant even get good film in bulk for twice the price per square foot they are offering and there is no way I can get kits for that amount. If I were you I would get good quality film and have a good installer apply it. Anything less and you should not expect or consider it being a clear bra. So what I am saying is the product they are selling is not a true clear bra.

Check out ClearMask.com or VentureShield.com if you are interested in film. They are the best two on the market.

Excellent advice. I have a VS clear bra and haven't regretted it a single day. Lifetime warranty. I had some bubbling issues earlier this week and my shop that installed it has already fixed the affected piece. No questions asked. Go VentureShield.

Tried it.The hood/top bumper worked okay. The bottom bumper part simply did not fit, and we threw it away. There is a quality difference. Not for the DIY as installation is quite difficult and requires multiple hands. Don't install under hot, windy, dusty, or super dry conditions.

Quality of material and a 100% perfect install was not that important for me as the car is under a short lease, just want to keep road debris from chipping the frontal paint.

Installs should always be done in a climate controlled environment... no sun, no wind, well lit but in the shade, and no dust/debrit blowing around.
