When you began...
When you began...
when you first started to wash/detail your car what were your mistakes?
When I got my G37 (Black) I used to use a sponge, one bucket, and rags to wash and dry my car. I used some ****y budget suds because i figured they are all the same and I used to wash my car all the time in direct sunlight.
So natrually my car picked up swirls, scracthes, marring, and mineral etches. So then I tried to polish it by hand with turtle wax polish combound which ended up adding scratches.
This was about a year ago.
So now I use sheepskin wash mit, better suds, 2 buckets system, MF only for drying, PC for polishing, and so on.
What were ur mistakes (Doesnt have to be regarding the g37).

I've used solvents to get stubborn stains off of paint.
I've used a variety of things to wash that should never touch your car.
I've taken my car to drive through type car washes.
You name it, I pretty much did it.
Mostly before I go Betty. I have given her an automatic car wash bath in the beginning. Never again.
