Anyone use IP?

I'm questioning if IP on an orange LC pad will be LSP ready, or will I need a finishing polish?

Let me know your thoughts.

Don,

I've used IP without the need for a finishing polish (Po106ff), but I was using a white pad... I think if you use an orange pad, you may need a finishing polish though. I'd be prepared for it regardless.

I've asked myself that before, so I tried it. I used PBW Natty's Blue after using the SIP with an orange pad. The car had a hell of a lot of shine to me and the PO106FF looked unnecessary to me. It came out good IMO.

I have never tried it myself, but I just had my car professionally detailed a few weeks ago. He used SIP in a few spots, and IP for the majority of the car, both with LC orange pads. Then he did go back over the entire car with 106FF and a white pad. I thought it looked perfectly fine after the IP, but it really "popped" after the 106FF.

I would have never noticed the difference if he hadn't done a before/after section on my trunk for me to see.

Excellent! Considering what I've heard IP has considerably less cut than SIP, I should be all set.

I have a few "free" details to do for family members and I'm looking for simplicity over perfection. Considering I have some huge vehicles to do, this sounds like a good route.
