Buffer Burn... Grrrr.....
Buffer Burn... Grrrr.....
So, yesterday I bought a 2008 g37s - Black exterior. Unfortunately, some monkey head who thinks they knew something about detailing a car ended up giving my paint job buffer rash. Now I have swirls all over the car- Very noticeable to me. The dealer gave me two options
1. Bring it Back with full refund
2. $250 to have a detail shop fix it.
What would you do and what kind of result can you expect?- this guy probably used a power buffer
Payed 32,000 for a G37s nav, premium with 4000k miles- so pretty good deal.

Can you post pics of the condition it's in? I really doubt the paint is permanently damaged because it takes a lot to cut all the way thru the clear coat.
So yeah bro, pics would help.

Agreed. I doubt the paint is in that bad of shape that a professional detailer couldn't correct it. I'd still see what you can get out of them. If a dealer maybe have them pay for it, but also see if you can get some free oil changes out of them for the trouble. It seems like they are willing to work with you on it.
Also, I assume this was the dealers detailer that caused the problems?
