Hi All

Took my car in for its 1000 k and the service person asked me if I wanted to get a (can't remember the exact brand name) diamon coating on the car which sounds to me like a thin polymer over the paintwork to reduce wear and tear from the elements - livein the UAE so the summer months can be up to 50 degrees.

has anyone has this done and have you been happy with it?

I think almost all the dealers offer this coating. I passed, personally I don't think it's worth it.

 

I know what you're talking about.. Does give the car a nice shine.. and less scratches on my car now
I used to get a door scratch everytime I go to the mall

 

Sounds like the Ziebart Diamond Gloss coating. It sounds like a miracle product, which means it's too good to be true.

 

its a nice paint protectant detail from the dealership...if u want good detail with paint protection get it if it fit the budget

 

how much does that cost?
