I am live in bay area, i am trying to get a clear bra installed on my G37s, i went to a body shop yesterday, they gave me a price for $740.00, is it sounds about right? How much did u guys paid for install that?

Don't get 3m, get venture film...much clearer, 3m looks like orange peel

 

How much is venture film gonna cost? And it works better than 3M? does clear bra really can prevent rock chips?

 

Your better bet is to go with Venture. I do not install 3M because there is way to much orange peel. It looks terrible and I would never think about putting it on a car. If you would like to see some photos of 3M and ClearMask AR (very comparable to Venture) I will be more than happy to email you some. Just PM me your email address. The pictures are of a lack Viper GTS with 3M on the hood and ClearMask AR on the bumper. The difference is quite staggering...

And to answer your question, yes it does a great job at stopping rocks.

 

I believe it is about the same price as 3m...It works the same as 3m but it is actually clear so it looks like regular paint. the 3m bra looks like orange peel.

Of course it prevents rock chips, thats the reason you get the bra.

 

i paid $650 for the bumper and 1/2 hood on my g35 almost 4 years ago.
