Liquid Platinum/Silver

Hi all,

Any recommendations for the best wax to use on liquid plat/silver colored vehicles?

Thanks.

Your best results are going to come from properly prepping the paint, which entails removing as much contamination as possible and removing as many imperfections (swirls, scratches, water spots, etc.) as possible. After you've done that, then you can start to appreciate some of the high quality waxes available. A nice option you might want to consider is Dodo Juice Diamond White Wax. This is a hard wax designed specifically for whites, grays, silvers, and light metallic paint. For a little more pop, you can opt for the Dodo Juice Light Fantastic, which is a soft wax formula, which can be applied literally by hand or with a foam applicator pad. Light Fantastic is designed for the same colors as Diamond White Wax, but the soft version allows for a little more depth and gloss. The soft wax also may sacrifice a little bit of durability, so there's a minor trade off.

An excellent bang for the buck option, which we have on sale until the end of the month is Poorboy's Natty's Red Paste Wax, which looks great on any color vehicle.

Let us know what you end up going with and how things turn out for you.

I still say you can't go wrong with a Menzerna FMJ Sealant topped with Nattys... For the silver, you'd want Natty's Red Paste Wax as George mentioned.
