In my previous post I mentioned the nasty scratch that I got on my car.

I need some help from those of you who know about touching up. I have been adding one thing layer at a time slowly so that it is at an even depth at the surrounding paint. Once I am done adding layers of paint should I use a polish and try to smooth it out followed by a waxing?

Also, do I apply a clear coat the the touch up paint?
