Here is what the paperwork says on my tire/wheel protection contract. I got the upgrade to the Gold Option that says this "Includes alloy wheel cosmetic repair, $100 emergency roadside assistance towing, and up to $35 per day in rental car expense."
So yes, I do have it in writing.
"alloy wheel cosmetic repair" is what I had done. It means patch and paint. It doesn't mean replace. I am happy with my repair tho. Although I am sure that where they fixed will scratch much more easily than the original finish.

Better than nothing. I do know that if I break the rim it is replaced but I knew that it would be repaired if I crub scrub it. I suck at driving so I know this will happen at some point.
I agree. I don't have the insurance and I have already spent about $175 in the first few months. Although I drive real carefully now when I park or go up or down ramps.
I coulud have sworn there was a post on e90 forums that showed you how to repair curb rashes... i have it bookmarked on my home PC...will post something later tonight.
