I've used it in the past... I think it is pretty good, but your best and safest option for your paints finish is a microfiber waffle weave towel. They are super soft and therefore gentle on the finish and have excellent absorbancy. It's my choice of drying towels especially on a black car where you see everything.

Ive been using The Absorber for years and never had any problems BUT Ive become extremely interested in detailing and read up on whats right and wrong. My cars have produced many swirl marks from poor drying and washing techniques. I do not recommend The Absorber at all. I just picked up a microfiber weave towel from www.detailimage.com havnt used it but read up on it and it makes sense I hope this helps!
