Wax before clear bra application?
Wax before clear bra application?
Hey Guys,
So I'm looking to have a clear bra installed, but I'm wondering if I should wash and wax my car before giving it to the installer? This is the first time I've tried to get a clear bra...so I'm not exactly sure what I should do.
Also, as a side note, if anyone has any recommendations for an installer in the California Bay Area (San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland area), please let me know.
Thanks!

Be nice and wash it, but don't wax the area where the bra will be, that would hinder the adhesive from doing it's job, you want it to stay on there 'till you decide it's time to remove if you want. They may use something to remove any wax that may be left over from your last wax job if you have waxed already.
Ask them to clean it up again after the install, otherwise they may leave the drip marks and what not for you to clean up, happened to me...
