Dents/Dings - Whats the best way to fix them?

I got my first dent on my driver side door today. Someone opened their car door into mine. I've been parking far away in isolated areas, but I guess someone finally found me. I now have a small vertical dent about 1.5 inches long. What can I do to get this fixed? I don't want to spend a s**t load of money getting it fixed, but I do want it fixed. Where should I go and how much should I expect to pay? Will an Infiniti dealer be able to fix it? How hard is this to fix without screwing up my paint?

Thanks guys.

Take it to a paintless dent removal shop that is reputable if possible. You might need to shop around. I doubt the dealership would do this for you and if they did it would cost a lot.

Someone told me that I should try a DingKing kit. http://www.dingking.tv/

Has anyone tried this or heard anything about it? Its only about $20 so it might be worth a try....but only if its safe for my car. Just wondering because before today I never would have used "Hot glue gun" and "G37" in the same sentence.

Dent ereaser

In my area there is a dude named Rusty who has a trailer , he comes to you and bam , it's gone. there is polly a clone of his. Just ask and search and find that dude. I call him the Dent Eraser. If you want I can call him and ask about his brotherhood. He sometimes rounds up some guys who do it and they go out to do high end cars in the mid west that got caught in hailstorm. I tried to get one out myself once and F'ed it up and called him. He just laughed and fixed it.

paintless dent removal will cost you anywhere from 65-100 per dent. that dingking contraption is junk. you will just end up with a bunch of glue on your paint.

I didn't know it was that cheap ($65-$100 per dent). I'll do some research and find a place in my area. I agree with you about dingking looking like junk...and there isn't anything cool about glue on paint. Thanks.

if you have them in your area, try Dent Wizard... a company that all they do is remove dings/dents.

Only on the bulged parts... if it is actually a DENT (bent metal), then no.

And no it'll never work on any of the door dings.

Google --> reviews Ding King

I'm seeing mixed reviews in some of the Web sites. Recommend against.

04STi208G37 - what exactly is your area? it'd be good to know about this guy if you happen to be somewhat near me. I see I-95 in your profile but that's a long road.... haha
