Okay, I'm going to check out Home Depot tomorrow since it's on my way home (if Lowe's supposedly has them in stock, I don't see why HD wouldn't).

With a name like waffle weave and ultimate guzzler, how can these towels not be good..?

 

just a couple things to try when trying your car..

for the last step, let the water sheet off the car.. if you have some sort of nozzle on your water hose, take it off for the last rinse.

and you can try spraying a quick detailer on the car while drying it

Man, that means I have to walk all the way to the faucet and turn the hose off, then back to the hose to remove the nozzle, then back to turn the faucet on, then one more trip back to the hose (unless I take the hose with me, which I guess would save me one round trip = ~56 steps).

But I do remember reading this on one of the sticky threads and it seems to be a good idea. I'll try it on my next wash. Thanks.

 

I've got one of those fire hose nozzles that works well for sheeting water across the car. No spray at all. I wash/dry each section at a time.

 

Hmm...I called Lowe's, and they said they don't have them...

Haha, well I finally found the section where they carry MF towels. Too bad they were nowhere near the size needed to dry a car. I picked up some applicator pads, wheel detail brush, and MF sponge while I was there. Found a drying MF towel at Kragen for 11 bucks and works like a charm.

I was amazed by how easy it was to dry the car. Never even rung the towel once. Damn all those times going through countless shirts and towels...DOMO
