Cleaning inside of the grill?

I just came back from a road trip from SF to LA and back to SF and if anybody's ever made that trip, you know how much bug juice you've accumulated by the end of the trip. So looking inside the grill where the vents are that cools the engine, I have a few bugs stuck in there (I also had a huge dragon fly in the there that I poked off with a long stick). How do people clean that part of the car? Or do you just leave it since no one ever sees that part anyways?

i've got nothing but bug guts on the front and mirrors of my IP... haven't looked behind the grill yet, because it's painfull to look at all of the bugs on the grill itself. i have to avert my eyes after only a few seconds.

will be washing her up this saturday for the meet on sunday.

Do you think bug guts will damage the paint if left out in the sun?

Also, I noticed your in Sacramento, where's the meet at?

bug guts WILL damage Nissan/Infiniti paint if left on for too long. my bug guts will be on for two weeks this Saturday, so i'm pushing it a little too close for comfort.

the meet's in Walnut Creek. all day BBQ. you should DEFINITELY come along as it's pretty close to you. there will be 30+ cars there, mostly G35's. i think one other G37 will be there besides me as of yet.

here's the thread on G35driver.

sign up and pay the man his money. 17.50 per person isn't bad. my fiance and i will be there.

Here's a tip for cleaning bugs off the car:

Use a wet dryer sheet. The sheet is just gritty enough to remove the dried bug remains, while the soap in the sheet helps break it down.

It absolutely will not damage your paint.
