2011 10th Touge Motorsports lapping event @ Shannonville Full Track – July 16th, 6:00 – 9:00 pm, Saturday evening


Hello all drivers,

We have the track Saturday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 pm booked, cost will be $82 of prepaid. No separate groups at Shannonville Full Track lapping

[size=2]We will have a short briefing prior to getting out on the track, followed by a few warm up laps, then lapping for the rest of the day. "Lapping" refers to just that, doing laps. Passing is STRICTLY prohibited except on the back straight, and only when the person in front of you has allowed you by signaling you to pass. We reserve all rights to kick people off the track that are driving dangerously and/or aren't listening to track marshalls.

For those that have never been to the track, we encourage you to try it out, even if you're still on stock/all season tires (they'll suck, and burn up quick, but it's still fun)

Helmets are strongly recommended for safety reasons, you will have to sign a disclaimer at the track, for those who do not wear helmet and not following our lapping rules, the participants take full responsibility for their action. (if you have helmets, it won't hurt to bring them up).

Hey there for those who have never done this before, can you explain a few things:

1. I have all stock parts on the car, will I go through a set of tires and brakes in one day or will it just wear them down a bit?

2. How much time do you get on the track?

3. Running stock, is there anything else I may can expect or need to bring besides helmet?

1. depends how aggressive you drive, how many milages u have been with the tires/brakes, and how much left, but shouldn't be a whole set of tires/brakes as long as you cool things down properly without running too hot.

2. 3 hrs.

3. drinking water, tools (e.g torque wrench to tighten the lugnuts), a pair of working groves, tire pressure gauge, 12v air compressor, spare bottles of engine oils, ...etc.
