Purchasing G37S + hi-tech pack in Canada/Vancouver

Anyone lately got a G37S in Vancouver? Im planning to purchase one with the hi-tech package. I was wondering what the price you got it for and what kind of discount can i get it in CAD with the economy so bad

APA can give you info on dealer cost, all incentives, & give you a pre-negotiated price that is better than what 90% of people would get on their own without help from the APA. They're a consumer based org that does a lot of good work. Membership costs $65, includes 5 reports on cars of your choice & 5 pre-negotiated prices on those reports. If you buy from the dealer that they have a pre-negotiated price with, there is another $65. Contact them to make sure they have pre-negotiated deals with a dealer in your area (Vancouver shouldn't be a problem).

For example, my friend recently got a M-B for $800 over dealer cost.

check out truecar.com, it will give you good idea of the price. Also check if there is any manufacturer's incentive going on..

let us know how it goes. Good luck

truecar.com is also american prices.

The invoice price on the G37S is $43,684. Hi-Tech invoice price is $3,488.

There is also a $1,000 dealer rebate on right now. So, you shouldn't be paying any more than like 3-5% markup on invoice, less the rebates...

($43,684 + $3,488) * 1.03 = $48,587.16

$48,587.16 - $1000 = $47,587.16

I'd advise getting a quote from 1 dealer, as close to this number as you can, then take it to another dealer and have them beat it. They will throw the book at you in terms of sales tactics, ie: these cars will sell whether i lower the price or not, etc. Be firm, make sure you go to at LEAST 3 dealers and maybe even revisit them a couple of times with a firm quote from another dealer in hand. You'd be surprised how many times they can beat another dealers price back and forth.

I don't have my bill of sale, but I know my total sale amount was $50,869.28.

If you take off freight (1825), pdi (not sure, around $400 i think), tinting, 3m protection, ac tax, aspen pearl paint ($300) it would be $47,446. I'm pretty sure there are some other costs in there too. In any case, it was less than 3% over invoice - the rebates. That's what you should be shooting for..

PS. My first quoted price from a dealer was $49,000 flat. $2600 off MSRP of $51,600.

For people who don't know how to negotiate or who aren't good (that's about 90% of the population), you can't go wrong with the APA helping you out.

BTW, if you're interested there's a cash deal credit (eg as long as you pay the full amount upfront without borrowing from Infiniti). I think on the coupe with tech it's a $3500 credit, & sedan with tech it's a $4000 credit. The credit is applied before taxes, so the real value is even better!

The first dealer I went to was Guelph Infiniti which I WILL NEVER RETURN TO IN MY LIFE. The manager and employees are all stuck up ******. At one point the salesman said to me (pointing at this clothes and stuff) "Do I LOOK like i need the money?" referring to his commission when i was trying to negotiate....

ALTA Infiniti on the other hand was amazing. Nobody else could beat their deal. everyone was down to earth and they gave me an amazing price right off the bat.

49,000 flat was my first offer, not my best offer. If you are leasing, you should be getting the $1000 rebate taken off your price. If you are purchasing cash I believe there is a $2000 rebate.

It's posted up above....I basically took the offers from dealer to dealer until I couldn't find anyone that could beat it.

Good luck finding one I think I got the last available one with the graphite interior.

I think there may be 1 with a stone interior if it hasn't sold already (i got mine on Thursday) otherwise you'll be ordering, not sure how long that takes...

They let me see the inventory check when I was looking for mine. The one I bought was the only graphite, and there were 3 stones, but 2 were already sold but hadn't been delivered (so they still show as available in the system)...
