hey I Knew you were but wanted all to congregate in a thread and maybe in future get a meet or wxchange ideas.....
Just got my 09 g37x coupe.
Love it so far but having some issues with my nav system. Seems the voice recognition part will recognize the name Montreal but none of its streets. Yet if i choose a suburb like outremont or Mont-Royal it has no problem recognizing streets of the same name as in Montreal.

I wonder if I am alone with this problem?

I contacted Navteq this morning who are responsible for the infiniti nav systems. They admit that Voice recognition for the NAv in Canada is not officially supported as of now but works in many areas.......Montreal not being one of them!
I am curious if this i true on the older NAV as well.

The Suburbs work fine however like outremont, Mont-royal Montreal-est, LAval st-laurent.......

I find the voice recognition pretty good... the only problem I had was getting it to recognize large numbers (like if the address is 8390 Yonge St).
