I got the winter rims from the dealership in Ottawa (TG Automotive Group). I found this cost-effective rim matched the original nicely even though they are an inch smaller. The rims were less than half the price of the tires...

I just sent an email to 417 asking why the hell did Infiniti not release the 09 yet. I gave up on asking Tony Graham.

 

I ordered an 08 from 401 Dixie, probably picking up this weekend if I can finish the paperwork on time. Very nice people to deal with IMO.

 

Anyone on here own the liquid platinum (silver) G37 that was parked in downtown Ottawa today (Nov. 20) at noon in front of the Dancing Mermaid restaurant with license plate ending in "067"?

 

Saw a blue G37x on my way back home tonight. It had a 401 dixie plate cover. You're right Loki, they are everywhere now.

 

The 09 coupes were released like last tuesday....well, here in s. ontario anyway. And where did you see a blue one??? That's totally the colour I want, but apparently they're super rare. I ordered my athens blue, and it has to be shipped from BC. I have to wait for like another week or so.....

 

Picked up my X last Wednesday from Dixie. I live in Ottawa though.

 

Dammit, one more day and that blue might have been mine hahah. Well, the only other one left (until another shipment) is in BC and it's alllll mine. How are you liking it so far? Mind if I ask what kinda deal you got? Oh, and what does the 0-60 feel like? With the AWD, there's better traction, but it does way like 210lbs more!

Yea I know, both the x and sport have arrived in Ottawa as well. Dealerships keeps calling me now. Msrp did indeed go down, both Sport and x fully equipped with navigation but no 4ws are going for $50 600 compared to $55 XXX last year. I'm in no rush to make the purchase so I'm just waiting for some incentive now. Oh and in case you're still wondering, I saw the blue one in Ottawa.

 

Thanks... I ordered mine back in August, and yes I hear they make very few of the Athens Blue (not sure why). Still in the break in period so haven't really wound er up yet... but having driven the M35X for three years (which is much heavier) with the added HP and 7 speed tranny, it's a rocket... feels like it won't stop accelerating. I've driven plenty of AWD's and you can't top Infiniti's for absolute control in snowy Ottawa.
Not many deals to be had especially on the 09X... but they removed the f&pdi as my "deal" since I was buying from them (toronto) instead of Ottawa. It's a hot car this time of year being AWD... good luck with your negotiations.

Yeah apparently it's a very sporty colour, and red is rare too. The average Infiniti driver is like 47, so I guess safe colours are more popular. Personally, I love the AB, and it's one of the few blues I like, and I think it stands out. I'm debating about getting blue calipers.... There have only been ~30 ABs transported to North American so far I believe.

Yeah I drove the demo car and was so nervous. I was probably the first one to drive it, and I didn't want to go hard on the car. I don't drive that much, it'll take me several months to break in the engine probably. I got 1800 off from my dealer as well, which I thought was a good deal. It didn't really take much negotiating....I think my dealer and I have an understanding. He knows I'm a fair guy, and all I said to him was that I wanted a fair deal. I wasn't trying to screw him out of his profit, cuz hey let's face it, we're all trying to make a living right? He gave me a fair deal, so I gave him my business! I thought buying a car would be a huge headache and dealer BS, but my salesman made it pretty pleasant. I'm also getting nitrogen in my tire My little bit of GTR I guess.

Hey, do you think it's worth it to put a deposit down (not downpayment, just deposit) to lower the APR?

 

Anyone on here from the Hamilton region?? I've only seen like 3 G37s the last year or so around here.....

 

Cool, I came back here looking for anyone from Ottawa that had posted in the past with that combo and totally forgot about you. I must admit the 18" looks better in person then in picture. Nice looking car, did you get it with Nav?
